20. Critics Choice Movie Awards (Eleştirmenlerin Seçimi Film Ödülleri) adayları belli oldu. Birdman, En İyi Film ve En İyi Yönetmen dahil 13 kategoride aday gösterildi.
Tam Noel ile birlikte ödül sezonuna kısa bir ara vereceğimizi düşünürken 20. Critics Choice Movie Ödülleri adaylıkları ile tüm sinema dünyası hareketlendi. 30 kategorisi ile sinema dünyasının en kapsamlı ödüllerinden biri kabul edilen Critics Choice Ödülleri içinde temel adaylıkların yanı sıra En İyi Genç Kadın/Erkek Oyuncu, Aksiyon Filminde En İyi Erkek Oyuncu ve En İyi Bilim-Kurgu/Korku Filmi gibi kategoriler içeriyor. Bu da Edge of Tomorrow ve Guardians Of The Galaxy gibi ödül törenlerinde pek göremediğimiz filmlere yarışa katılma fırsatı veriyor.
Akademi ödüllerine kısa bir süre kala gerçekleştirilen Critics Choice Ödülleri, Oscar yarışında kimin daha avantajlı olduğuna dair çok büyük ipuçları veriyor. Hatırlatalım, geçen sene Critics Choice Movie Ödülleri’nde kazanan yapımlar, Oscar’larda aynı ödülleri kazanmışlardı.
Bu sene yarışa, 13 adaylığı bulunan Birdman damgasını vuruyor. 11 adaylık ile arkasından gelen Grand Budapest Hotel, belki de Wes Anderson‘ın Akademi lanetini bu sefer kırabileceğine dair bir işarettir. En İyi Film yarışında bu iki filme; 8 adalık ile Boyhood, Gone Girl, The Imitation Game, Nightcrawler, Selma, The Theory Of Everything, Unbroken ve Whiplash eşlik ediyor.
Into The Woods ve Steve Carell‘in performansı ile En İyi Erkek Oyuncu dalında aday olması kesin gözü ile bakılan Foxcatcher listede yer almayan yapımlar.
